This small-fruit Sangiovese creates a more full-bodied red. After harvest, Pottarello is on the skins for three weeks in stainless steel tanks, and then rests in 500 lt French oak barrels for 12 months. Pottarello is the very essence of Umbria - a hearty red with great structure that pairs perfectly with cured or grilled meats and game.
