Grintoso: translates into gritty or spirited, just like this wine. Our Grintoso is the result of a project spearheaded by Todi’s nationally respected school or agriculture and agronomy, who researched and documented this ancient and forgotten varietal after rediscovering a 150 year old mother vine in the hills behind Todi. Local winemakers were asked to plant this vine and transform the fruit into wine. Our Grintoso is the result. Only 403 bottles made.
